Defeating the Amalekite Spirit

The Amalekties were one of the fiercest enemies of Israel. The scope of the battle throughout history is sometimes overlooked, but it's incredible to see the scope chronicled in scripture. The Amalekites are the same people that attacked the people of Israel from behind on their way up from the red sea. They are the same ones Joshua was fighting in the valley as Moses was on the hill with his arms outstretched. Aaron and Hur held up the arms of Moses and the battle was won. This enemy was also the antagonist in the account of David and his men at Ziklag.
